Each of our customer organizations has an account manager. Their role is to work in partnership with their organization to deliver real value. These relationships are transparent, honest and up front. We choose our account managers carefully.
Noreen O’Connor - Sales support manager (Western region)
Noreen joined CUNA Mutual in July 2008 as an Account Relationship Manager.
Prior to that, Noreen spent six years with Marsh in Spiddal, Co. Galway, initially as a Team Leader but progressed to the Account Management role. Noreen was responsible for the day to day account management of three large contracts and also worked closely with the Operations Manager to ensure that premium and claims were processed in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
Prior to Marsh, Noreen worked with Eagle Star Life in Blackrock, Dublin, for seven years. Noreen joined Eagle Star after leaving college commencing as an Administrator but progressed to Team Leader in the Client Services Department. She has also worked in the insurance industry in France (GAN Assurances) and Scotland (Scottish Widows).
She has a degree in Insurance from the University of Limerick plus a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from Dublin Business School and has attained the Associate ship of Chartered Insurance (ACII). Noreen is now also a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA).
John MacNamara - Sales support manager (Eastern region)
John joined CUNA Mutual Group as an Account Relationship Manager for the eastern region in February 2008. John’s background has been in service management. Prior to joining CUNA, John spent 14 years with Atlas Copco Ireland Ltd (manufacturer of industrial compressors), as a Sales Engineer / Project Manager for capital equipment. He managed larger tenders and project managed large contracts i.e. Pfizer and Wyeth Newbridge. He worked closely with engineering consultants (Jacobs & Project Management) on a daily basis.
John has a Diploma in Management and Industrial relations. He has also recently become a Director at West Cabra Credit Union.
