The London and South East Chapter was supported by Simon Clarke (Sales & Support Manager England and Wales) where approximately 100 Credit Union Directors and staff attend.
"To achieve the figures that we had on the day, has been no mean feat. But it does show that we are very proactive in the South East, the live link and the links from the president of WOCCU, & Mark Lyonette, was an exciting experience, and showed the future way forward for the Credit Unions worldwide as a whole. I think that it has opened the eyes of a few of the members who attended. Once again, thank you for attending the LSE Chapter event, and being there to support us as you have over the past years." Dawn Lindo Morgan - Chair LSEC & Margaret Murray - London & South East Chapter
The Yorkshire and Humber Chapter was supported by Bobby Gould (Sales & Support Manager Scotland). Bobby delivered an update on the new products and service innovations introduced by CUNA Mutual Group over the past year.
"I write on behalf of the Yorkshire & Humber Chapter to thank you for presentation. We were particularly impressed by you breadth of knowledge regarding where CMG's roots are and reminding those assembled why we have insurance - that it gives us a fundamental selling point that singles us out from others in the financial market. Your pitch for Family LIFE+ and Mortgage Cover+ was very thought provoking. Members asked questions and received the information differently. Our attendees who could sell enough to warrant the fee for registration went away planning; while the smaller CU's were of a mind to still let their membership know of the website without recommendation. Those attending felt the presentation was informative and confirming; Informative in that we learnt more about why we as ABCUL CU's gain by our association with CMG. Confirming that LS and LP were still very relevant and that it needs to be preserved as an important part of being a member of ABCUL. Once again thank you for travailing so far to give us a well received presentation in such a professional and thought provoking way." Alan Hignett - Yorkshire and Humber Chapter.
